NetSuite Financial Systems and Project Manager

Job Description:

Purpose: Heritage-Crystal Clean is looking for a highly driven NetSuite Financial Systems and Project Manager to assist NetSuite General Ledger and ERP implementations. The NetSuite Financial Systems and Project Manager responsibilities include assisting the Company in system design in coordination with IT, accounting, and business process owners; working with NetSuite professional services on project timeline, completion, and issue resolution; direct involvement with configuration, data conversion, migration, testing as well as end user acceptance testing and training.Essential Duties:

  • Primarily responsible for successful NetSuite GL and ERP implementations and administration
  • Manage, track, and communicate the progress of financial system projects.
  • Responsible for coordination and management of 3 rd parties assisting in financial systems implementations or upgrades
  • Coordination with IT and accounting departments in design of chart of accounts and other dimensions to fulfill financial and management reporting needs
  • Perform and coordinate configuration of NetSuite modules and data
  • Partner with accounting and business team members to create effective and efficient workflows within NetSuite, including:
    • Record to Report
      • Order to Cash
        • Procure to Pay
          • Project to Cash
            • Inventory Management
              • Fixed Assets
                • Payroll
                  • Planning and budgeting
                    • Assist finance and accounting teams with maximizing NetSuite's reporting capabilities, creating custom reports as necessary
                    • Provide support to the organization for NetSuite functionality inquiries Other Duties
                      • Other duties as assigned by management Position Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.                         • Bachelor's degree in management information systems, accounting, or business
                        • At least 5+ years of experience in systems applications consulting, either internally via an IT organization or externally with a consulting firm or software provided
                        • 2+ years of experience using Oracle NetSuite
                        • Strong understanding of features, reporting and customizations in NetSuite
                        • Strong analytical and communication skills
                        • Sound problem-solving and time management skills.
                        • Ability to work independently and seek help when appropriate
                        • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications:
                          • NetSuite implementation, upgrade, and support experience
                          • Project management experience
                          • Experience facilitating design, configuration, and administration of NetSuite
                          • Strong business skills and experience in accounting, finance, or operations
                          • Knowledge of data conversions, interfaces, and integrations of NetSuite applications Work Experience
                            • 5+ years' experience minimum Education, Certificates, Licenses, or Designations
                              • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Accounting, or business required
                              • PMP or MBA preferred Work Environment: While performing essential duties of this position an individual regularly works indoors and may be required to sit for lengthy periods. Individual will be required to regularly talk, hear, see, and often reach with hands, stand, walk, use a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment. Our Office is located in Hoffman Estates, IL, you will be eligible for up to two (2) work from home days a month. This is not a remote or work from home position.
