managing their complex financial lives. Position Summary: We are
seeking an experienced and highly motivated Tax Manager to join our
team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our firm,
providing strategic tax planning and return preparation services to
our diverse clientele, including individuals, closely held
businesses, S-corporations, limited liability companies, and
partnerships and trusts. This role demands a deep understanding of
current tax laws and the ability to apply advanced tax strategies
to minimize our clients' tax liabilities and preserve their assets
for future generations. Why join us? Key Responsibilities: Develop
and implement strategic tax planning for clients. Prepare and
review complex federal and multistate tax returns for individuals,
corporations, partnerships, and trusts. Provide audit
representation and manage relationships with tax authorities.
Monitor changes in tax laws and advise clients on potential impacts
and opportunities. Utilize advanced tax strategies, including
income-shifting, gifting techniques, and the use of pass-through
entities. Collaborate with financial advisors to integrate tax
planning with clients' overall financial strategies. Conduct
budgeting, cash-flow analysis, and prepare net-worth statements.
Oversee additional business services such as bookkeeping, fixed
asset tracking & reconciliation, and succession planning. Ensure
accurate, efficient, and timely service delivery. Act as a trusted
advisor to clients, providing comprehensive and coherent financial
strategies. Job Details Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in
Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required. Minimum of 5-7
years of experience in tax planning and preparation, preferably
within a wealth management or financial advisory firm. Extensive
experience with multistate tax returns and complex tax scenarios.
Strong knowledge of current tax laws and regulations. Proven
ability to develop and implement tax minimization strategies.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to
build lasting client relationships. Proficiency in tax preparation
software and Microsoft Office Suite. Detail-oriented with a high
level of accuracy and efficiency. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in deferred compensation techniques. Familiarity with
audit representation and dealing with tax authorities. Knowledge of
bookkeeping, fixed asset tracking, and succession planning.
Experience in financial advisory or investment management firms.
