Job Description: Audit Manager Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in overseeing audit processes and ensuring compliance across various operations. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of audit standards and regulations. Job Responsibilities Lead and manage internal audit engagements from start to finish, including planning, execution, and reporting. Evaluate compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements. Develop audit plans and timelines while ensuring effective resource allocation for audits. Identify areas for process improvement and provide actionable recommendations to senior management. Collaborate with various departments to ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures. Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and corrective actions needed. Mentor and train junior audit staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning. Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing. Assist in the development and implementation of risk assessment strategies. Participate in compliance reviews and special projects as required. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, Big 4 public accounting experience Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), or equivalent is required Strong understanding of auditing standards, regulations, and best practices. Desired Experience A minimum of 5 years of experience in internal auditing, accounting, or finance Previous experience in the healthcare industry or pharmaceuticals is a plus. Proven track record of managing audit teams effectively. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
