the future. The Electronics Technician Maintenance III applies
advanced technical knowledge and practices to solve complex
problems that cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers'
manuals or similar documents. Skills required include reading
schematics and engineering drawing, soldering, root cause failure
analysis, troubleshooting electronic failures, performing systems
testing and alignments, evaluating and incorporating engineering
changes. Work typically requires an understanding of the
interrelationships of circuits, exercising independent judgment in
performing such tasks as making circuit analyses, calculating wave
forms, and tracing relationships in signal flow, using complex test
instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, oscilloscopes,
spectrum analyzers, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers,
and complex computer control equipment. Candidates will be required
to interface with engineering, quality, program management and
customers. As a senior technician, training and technical guidance
to lower-level technicians will be performed. Good interpersonal
skills are required. Basic Qualifications: • An Electronics
Associate Degree or Military Training Equivalent with a minimum of
5 years of related experience; 7 years of related experience will
be considered in lieu of Degree or Military Training • Strong
knowledge of systems troubleshooting. • Ability to perform circuit
analysis to a failed component. • Ability to read schematics and
engineering drawing. • Solder repair experience. • Ability to
obtain/maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security
clearance. Security clearance is not required to start. • Must be a
US Citizen. • Microsoft Office basic skills. Preferred
Qualifications: • An undergrad degree in an Electrical Engineering
related field. • Experience working in ERP and MES systems. • A
current DoD Secret Security Clearance (or higher). • Experience in
the sustainment of military systems and equipment. • Experience
with military equipment logistics, technical manuals, and quality
standards. • RF (Radio Frequency) experience. NGSkills Primary
Level Salary Range: $35.57 - $35.57 The above salary range
represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers
a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the
scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's
experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime,
shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base
pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions
as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees
in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long
Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety
of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and
disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid
time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business. The
