Job Description:

ACCOUNT MANAGERThe Claire's Concessions team primary objective is to grow the Claire's brand in other retail channels: Food, Drug, Mass, Club, Department, etc. The Account Manager for Concessions is responsible for the management and coordination of sales activities with a key emphasis on managing current and future grocery partners such as but not limited to Publix, HEB, Hy-Vee, Southeastern Grocers, and Kroger. This role will support the sales team to manage and execute day to day sales initiatives and gain internal alignment from cross functional partners. Work with designated resources (internal and external) to maximize market share, sales, and profits by optimizing assortment and promotional activity for retail partners. The ideal candidate is a strategic and tactical thinker that will turn any challenge into an opportunity and is comfortable working with several moving pieces at once. Build customer relationships at the buyer level Work closely with Claire's operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction Executes consumer and shopper driven strategies for their customers Develop and execute customer & category strategic development and annual operating plan Works with Claire's buying team to develop accurate sales forecasts and achieve specified levels of forecast accuracy Balance managing current customer base and prospecting new accounts Use fact based POS selling tactics to increase Claire's product distribution within partner Support the build out and implementation of processes to gain efficiencies throughout the organization Identify issues and root causes and make recommendations for improvements ABOUT YOU Bachelors Degree 2-3 years of sales and/or trade experience required. Grocery experience preferred. Experience with managing a medium to large book of business both through a broker network and direct with the customer Initiative & follow-through Solid analytical skills and acute attention to details Category management with syndicated data preferred Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously Advanced skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point 25% Travel depending on geography/span of controlClaire's is an equal opportunity employer with a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion.
