This role is to replace a team member that is moving to another position within the same team i.e. nutrition and bakery. The Account Manager's role is to maintain and grow the business at the two large bakery manufacturers/distributors (by working with their key personnel and teams) and also to be part of implementing the bakery strategy and as a result associated his/her in his/her territory by prospecting and business developmentMain accountabilitiesManage and Grow business at assigned key accounts for Tate and LyleDevelop and deliver the Budget (AOP) for the territory/accountsMeet and exceed year over year growth in sales and gross profit margin for account portfolioNegotiate all contracts for accounts in the territoryPrepare communicate and manage Account Plans for Key AccountsMaintain and manage the Sales Forecast for the territory/accountsUse Salesforce.com (SFDC) as a tool to manage and deliver results and comply with all required T&L standard operating procedures relative to it and also to maintain and grow his/her SFDC pipelineFES Duty of Care:Food SafetyCarry out responsibilities/duties according to food safety, legal and quality requirements so as to ensure that our products are fit for human consumption.EnvironmentComply with all environmental standards, procedures and work instructions at all times.Report any environmental violations or near misses in order to prevent any impact upon the local environment, its inhabitants and Tate & LyleHealth & SafetyAdhere to the safety policies, procedures and site rules.Fully participate in the safety programme, including reporting any incidents or near misses and auditingPerformance measuresDelivery of Financial targets and minimum of Budget (AOP) per year and other metrics as defined on an annual basis in the Performance HubLegislative requirementsAdhere to all defined local food safety laws, regulations and requirements.Skills and experience requiredPlease list the skills, experience and behaviours required to successfully perform the role in order of importance:To include level of education, general qualifications, specialised knowledge, other characteristics such as interpersonal skills, professional certificates and qualifications, etc.10 plus years of Food Ingredient sales experience and with managing large accounts as a current or future next career stepHaving Technical Background in Food Science is beneficial but not necessaryAbility to travel a minimum of 35 % of the time and when applicable given Covid 19 travel restrictionsPreferably located in Midwest or East Coast.
