You can make an impact on the success of our business and that of our customers regardless of what career you decide to pursue.?From data scientists to sales and client service experts, we?re hiring to support your growth and ours -?Green?light your career.??The CDK Account Director (AD) is responsible and accountable for the overall strategy, planning, leadership and direction of a defined set of Third Party Automotive software and service providers from both an operational and revenue growth perspective.-- As the ---General Manager--- of an assigned portfolio of clients, the AD must be able to leverage strong relationship management skills and provide oversight and ---best practice--- guidance to both clients and internal teams. The AD will promote and drive process improvements to provide total client satisfaction, retention and client growth.--Client Facing Responsibilities

  • Establishes executive-level credibility within strategic accounts through business expertise, deep understanding of industry issues and a focus on product solutions.Build strong business and operational relationships with existing clients and ensure that all projects are completed to drive complete client satisfaction. Advise clients on how to best utilize CDK data solutions in order to obtain maximum value and benefits that will lead to increased dealer adoption and higher product usage. Proactively manage a set of Third Party clients, with ultimate responsibility for account growth, profitability and a stronger business relationship. Maintain ongoing communications with client to review past performance, current goals and to develop a solid understanding of the client---s business/future plans. Work with Director of Strategic Accounts to develop additional proposals that meet the client's business needs. Present and negotiate client renewals, SLA agreements and new business opportunities to key decision makers. Penetrates assigned accounts by selling new or additional products or services to current buyers or finds additional buyers within the existing customer base.Oversee all communication between the client and the internal operations teams and serve as the primary escalation point for any issues that arise. Ensure that the client relationship is established with the Operations/Support Manager for ongoing production and that the overall quality of all projects delivered is acceptable to both the client and the support organization.--Project Implementation Responsibilities
    Oversee client implementations to ensure that all projects are effectively managed and staffed appropriately. Ensure that all projects are executed in a--consistent manner, following current ---best practices--- and established internal methodologies. Monitor project risks and issues, and escalate to client or executive staff as appropriate. Manage client expectations regarding project timeline and scope, addressing all out-of-scope requests through the established change control process (upsell opportunities). Coordinate with Support Director to secure appropriate resources, establish client SLA, set internal OLA guidelines and communicate post-production expectations to both internal teams and client. Ensure that new lessons learned from assigned projects are adequately documented and disseminated to other implementation teams. Managing or leading cross-functional teams and projects.Develop internal strategic account plans for all clients to establish roadmap objectives and desired post-production engagements----Qualifications :
    Bachelor---s Degree required, Business, Sales, Marketing related fields or equivalent professional education/experience preferred. Client or Account Management experience preferred.Automotive industry experience is valuable and preferred.Experience working with Executive level management desired.Strong negotiation and meeting facilitation skills necessary.Experience in managing or leading cross-functional teams.Proven experience identifying client product needs and working with products teams for solutions.Exceptional written, verbal communications skills required and ability to create and deliver formal presentations to senior-level audiences.Excellent work organization skills and ability to manage and handle ambiguity.?CDK Global knows you have passions outside of work. ?You have family, friends, sporting events, and lots of things going on. ?
