Job Description:
The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for working
with surgeons in the operating room. OR RNs will prep the operating
room and the patient for the procedure and make positive that all
medical equipment is clean and operating
correctly.ResponsibilitiesOR RN duties consist of:
Assessing the well being of the patient before, during and after
the operation.
Predict the needs of the surgeons and give medical instruments and
medical supplies to them during procedures.
Gathering and labeling all items needed for laboratory
examinations.
RequirementsOne year of experience as an OR RN within the past two
years.
Active Nursing License in good standing.
Current BLS from American Heart Association.
Negative Drug Screen.
