Job Description:

The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for assisting surgeons in the OR. Operating Room Registered Nurses will prepare the operating room and the patient for surgery and make certain that all equipment is safe and working correctly.ResponsibilitiesOR RN duties consist of: Assessing the well being of the patient before, during and after the procedure. Predict what the surgeons need and give instruments and medical supplies to them during procedures. Collecting and labeling any items needed for lab examinations. RequirementsOne year of experience as an OR Nurse within the past two years. Current Nursing License in good standing. Current BLS from American Heart Association. Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
