RN - Emergency Department - Part-Time - Mid-ShiftWe Are Hiring Sign-On Bonus Available Title: Registered Nurse RN Department: Emergency Department Schedule: Part-Time, Mid Shift hours, 3pm-3:30am 0.6 FTE 24 hrs/wk 12 hour shifts Every other weekend staffing required Rotating holiday coverage as needed Hospital: Ascension St. Alexius Medical Center Hoffman Estates Location: 1555 Barrington Rd, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169 1-year RN experience highly desired Emergency Department Experience preferred BSN desired BLS required ACLS and/or PALS preferred TNCC preferred TNS and/or ECRN Licenses preferred Compassionate, personalized care has a new name. This role is eligible for up to a $5,000.00 sign-on bonus (RN with ED experience), provided you successfully complete all pre-employment requirements subject to the terms and conditions of the offer and meet the minimum eligibility requirements. What You Will Do Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
