RN-Ambulatory Procedure Clinic - Full Time DaysDetails Title: RN-Ambulatory Procedure Clinic, Full Time Days Department: Surgery Ambulatory Schedule: Full Time Days, 7:00am - 5:30pm Hospital: Ascension Saint Alexius Medical Center Location: 1555 Barrington Road, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169 Compassionate, personalized care has a new name. Saint Alexius is now part of Ascension Illinois. Our team cares for patients with a variety of conditions. Team is responsible for administering chemo and biologic treatments, blood products, antibiotics, wound care, assist with eye laser procedures and pain procedures and more. Easy access to hospital from major highway. Day shift hours, some weekends and occasional holiday. Unit hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am-530pm and closed on weekends and holidays. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. Additional Preferences Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
