$2,456 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift:
Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours (1900 - 0730) Experience:
Must have two years of acute care experience within the last three
years, specifically in neurological critical care. License: Valid
nursing license required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS
certification required through the American Heart Association.
Telemetry certification with Basic Arrhythmia experience is
required. Must-Have: Experience in intracranial pressure (ICP)
monitoring and management of neurological patients. Traveler must
pass a telemetry test prior to starting. Description: We are
seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuro ICU. Nurses will provide
intensive care to patients experiencing acute neurological
deficits. This unit specializes in managing conditions such as
subarachnoid hemorrhages, unstable ischemic and hemorrhagic
strokes, traumatic brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries. The
ICU will provide nurses the opportunity to work with a diverse
population of patients requiring specialized neurological care. The
nurse will be responsible for monitoring intracranial pressure and
hemodynamic stability in unstable patients. Weekend and holiday
rotation is required as part of the schedule. Floating between
units may occur based on staffing needs. All personnel must comply
with hospital policies regarding orientation and competency
testing. Orientation involves approximately 20 hours of
non-billable training. Passing of required exams is essential for
