Job Description Protouch Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 08/08/2025 - Duration: 15 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Title:- RN - PICU Facility:- UW Health American Family Childrens Hospital Location:- Madison, WI Contract duration:- 15 Weeks Shift:- Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location Evening/Night, 12 hour shift, 7:00pm-7:30am. Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required. Experience: Pediatric ICU experience required. Solid experience in PICU, and some CV ICU or cardiac step down or general cardiac experience required. Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last three years. Licensure and Certification: Traveler must have Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or compact license from their permanent address state. BLS - must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY PALS - must be certified through American Heart Association Education: Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred. Telemetry Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start. Provide comprehensive care for patients admitted with a wide variety of both medical and surgical problems. Problems include: acute head injuries, critical neurological disorders, pulmonary diseases, cardiac anomalies, organ transplantation, multi system organ failure, and ECMO. Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
