Job Description:
Cath Lab RN - Traveler - Days We are seeking a compassionate and
skilled Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurse (Cath Lab RN)
to provide direct, high-acuity cardiovascular care in a
collaborative and fast-paced hospital setting. This role involves
close coordination with physicians, techs, and interdisciplinary
team members to ensure patient safety and excellent outcomes
throughout invasive cardiac and interventional radiology (IR)
procedures. Key Responsibilities: -Deliver direct patient care in
accordance with facility protocols, nursing standards, and
physician directives -Monitor, document, and communicate patient
condition and vital signs, including EKG and hemodynamic data
-Implement, assess, and adjust patient care plans based on evolving
clinical status -Assist with cardiac catheterizations,
angioplasties, pacemaker insertions, and interventional radiology
(IR) procedures -Serve as a primary coordinator across care teams,
ensuring smooth transitions and clear communication -Prepare
patients for procedures, administer medications, and monitor for
procedural complications -Document all aspects of care clearly and
accurately in the medical record -Participate in discharge planning
in coordination with case management and other disciplines -Adhere
to infection prevention protocols and maintain a safe environment
