Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical

Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in ICU
License: Valid nursing license required upon submission
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Candidates must be able
to float within scope to meet facility needs. Candidates may float
between various ICU units including Burn ICU, CCU, Medical ICU,
SICU, and Neuro ICU. Candidates may be asked to float to
Medical-Surgical units if needed to support staffing. Candidates
must have experience in interpretation and management of
dysrhythmias. Candidates must have experience managing patients
with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure. Candidates must have
experience with arterial line management, central line care, and
continuous IV sedation. Candidates must have experience titrating
cardiac and vasoactive drips. Candidates must have experience
assisting with the management of BiPAP and CPAP. Candidates must
have experience in the care of ventilated patients. Candidates must
have experience interpreting arterial blood gases (ABGs) and
suctioning (ETT, NT). Candidates must be knowledgeable in isolation
precautions and computerized documentation. Description: The
position requires working three 12-hour night shifts per week.
There is no block scheduling available. Every other weekend is
required, with no more than two consecutive days off. No requests
for time off will be granted on holidays or the days before or
after holidays. All candidates are required to float across
multiple units to meet staffing needs. Floating may occur two hours
before the start of a shift. Refusal to float may result in
cancellation of the assignment. All time off must comply with the
set policies. Proof of vaccinations is required one week prior to
the start date. Boosters are not required. Candidates must be
responsive and provide timely updates for all required items. Lab
work must be completed within 72 hours of accepting the assignment.
Failure to meet these expectations may result in dismissal from the
