be considered. A Registered Nurse (RN) with operating room
expertise is needed to support complex surgical procedures in a
dynamic, acute care setting. This contract opportunity involves
working alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional
perioperative patient care with a focus on efficiency and safety.
This role focuses on a variety of specialized surgeries including
ENT, eye surgeries such as vitrectomy and open globe repair,
plastics procedures like abdominoplasty and DIEP flap breast
reconstruction, as well as advanced ENT and ear surgeries.
Experience with key surgical equipment and microscopes is essential
to ensure smooth case progression and turnover. Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with surgical teams to coordinate operating
room activities and optimize case flow. Deliver safe, competent,
and efficient care tailored to perioperative patients needs and
complexity. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and
healthcare professionals regarding surgical care. Remain flexible
to float between different units or locations as staffing needs
evolve. Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, and
standards of care. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of two
years acute care nursing experience within the last three years.
Current Wisconsin nursing license or compact license from permanent
address state. Certification in BLS and ACLS through the American
Heart Association. Proficiency with specialized surgical equipment
and microscopes used in ENT, eye, and plastic surgeries. Permanent
address within 50 miles of the assigned worksite. Adaptable and
able to work a day/evening schedule with 12-hour shifts and weekend
