Job Description:

Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Tech to join our team of compassionate healthcare professionals. As part of our faith-based organization, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to transform healthcare and improve the lives of the communities we serve. Working within our state-of-the-art facilities, the CT Tech will operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. Operate CT equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images. Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures. Collaborate with radiologists to determine proper examination and ensure the results are of the highest quality. Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and positioning patients to correctly capture the required images. Administer contrast agents under the direction of a physician. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality guidelines. Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot CT machines to ensure operational efficacy. Proficiency in operating complex medical imaging equipment, specifically CT scanners. Strong understanding of radiology protocols and anatomy. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow complex instructions. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with a diverse patient population and healthcare team. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT. Applicable state licensure as a radiologic technologist.
