Job Description:
Encompass Health's Van Matre Rehabilitation Hospital is looking
for a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic
team. This role involves assisting physical therapists in providing
treatments and procedures that help improve patients' mobility and
alleviate pain. Our facility prides itself on utilizing

your next step. Assist Physical Therapists in the administration of
interventions and treatment plans. Document patient's response to
treatment and report on their progress. Maintain equipment and
ensure treatment areas are clean and organized. Participate in
patient assessments and help in developing care plans. Educate
patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises.
Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and regulatory
practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong
organizational and observational skills Ability to handle physical
demands of the job Proficient in documenting and maintaining
treatment records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Current Physical Therapist Assistant license CPR
certification recommended
