CT Tech Location: Elk Grove Village, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,584 per week Shift Information: Nights - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/3/2026 About the Position Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist Specialty: CT Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: - Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) - BLS Provider obtained within 30 days of hire Certifications: - NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required - One or more of the following are also acceptable: - Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) - Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Must-Have: - BLS Certification - Knowledge of radiation safety procedures and guidelines Description: Perform computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to established protocols. Prepare and position patients effectively while selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable regulations. Observe patients during procedures and report any abnormal activity. Monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements as needed. Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines diligently.
