HRBP - Business Process Key Relationships This role supports the Business Process (BP) teams located in NOAM (IT, Finance, Tax, Legal) organization and will be the local HR contact for their client group.--The HR Business Partner interfaces with other domestic and global HR teams. This person is a part of the US based Human Resources department and must be able to work in a team environment.-- HRBP - Global Innovation and Commercial Development Key Relationships This role supports the Global Innovation and Commercial Development (ICD) organization and will be the local HR contact for their client group.--The HR Business Partner interfaces with other domestic and global HR teams. This person is a part of the US based Human Resources department and must be able to work in a team environment.--

  • Primary HR Business Partner for the Global ICD organization. This requires partnership with other domestic and global HR teams to effectively support the full client group.
  • Provide operational support using general understanding of procedures, policies, business knowledge to assist in routine HR matters.
  • Administers and delivers the following programs for client group, in addition to supporting other group HR initiatives
  • Performance Management
  • Merit Planning
  • Talent Planning
  • Succession Planning
  • Employee Engagement
  • Partner with our Recruiting/Talent Acquisition Team to manage the full cycle of recruitment for assigned areas.
  • Works closely with the Centers of Excellence (Compensation and Benefits, Talent, HR Shared Services).
  • Act as a gatekeeper to ensure legal compliance by monitoring and managing applicable federal and state requirements, conducting investigations and maintaining records.
  • Ensure that consistent HR practices are implemented, as well as provide insights on best-practices throughout the industry
  • Help create a strong purpose led/people-centered culture colleagues
  • Promote inclusion and diversity across the organization
  • Lead local HR communications Performance measures
    • Maintain our HR Data to 100% accuracy
    • Follow-up and completion of commitments as defined in annual objective
    • Is seen as a visible, positive role model for the business for the organizational values, standards and leadership behaviours
    • Challenges the status-quo to seek better ways of doing things

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business related field
    • Master's Degree in HR or Business-related fields preferred
    • Professional HR certification (PHR/SPHR)
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package EXPERIENCE
      • Minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience
      • Strong Human Resource generalist experience as an effective strategist and practitioner with a solid track record of successful execution of HR programs SKILLS /KNOWLEDGE
        • Ability to think and work independently
        • Comfortable to act quickly in a fast paced environment
        • Develop creative solutions to business issues
        • Exceptional people skills, communication and facilitation skills
        • Organizational agility and savvy
        • Proficiency of HRIS system
        • Knowledge of basic employment law
        • Strong communication and interpersonal relationship management skills with all levels of the organization
        • Ability to travel 10% of the time (domestically) Location Pre-COVID, this role was located in our Hoffman Estates, Illinois location. However, we are fully remote working until at least January 2021, with similar flexibility and occasional travel into Hoffman Estates for meetings anticipated thereafter.
