C# Software Developer (Financial Experience)

Job Description:

I am currently searching for a passionate, tenacious and personable Junior to Mid C# Software Engineer with Financial Industry Experience to work in the heat of Chicago on a permanent basis!
 
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the participation in architecting and designing software solutions, full lifecycle application development, coding and debugging of existing applications, requirements analysis, code metric identifications, and software reliability analysis. You will also be called upon to research and implement new technologies with lead developers for upgrades to the latest and greatest!
 
For consideration, you must have the following skills:
 

• 
  

• Minimum 2 years of experience programming in C#, ASP.NET and/or VB.NET
• Experience working with building web applications utilizing MVC Framework
• Good understanding of developing applications on MS SQL Server
• Experience with front end web technologies including HTML, CSS & JavaScript
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
• Great communication skills both written and oral

 
The following skills are not required, but will make you stand apart:
 

• 
  

• Experience with WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) and WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Business Intelligence tools including SSIS & SSAS
• Microsoft Certifications would be preferred
• Masters in Computer Science or Software Engineering
