Job Description:
McLane Company, a dominant player in the supply chain services
industry, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals for an
entry-level position in our Transportation & Logistics department.
As a Driver Trainee, you will be introduced to our robust
distribution operations, connecting a vast network of centers
serving major entities across the country. This role is integral to
maintaining the efficacy and reliability of our logistics
solutions, ensuring timely and safe delivery of products. Assist
with the safe operation of deliveries and transport of goods to
various national locations. Learn to manage documentation related
to delivery and transport, such as logs and inventory management.
Help maintain the cleanliness and functionality of transport
equipment and vehicles. Participate in safety briefings and
training sessions. Work closely with senior drivers to understand
route planning and customer interaction. Adhere to company policies
and regulatory compliance requirements during every trip. Basic
knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures. Ability to
handle physical workload involving loading and unloading products.
Strong navigational and driving skills. Good organizational skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Medical Insurance
