About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal Engineer to design and perform security engineering solutions on the cloud platform to meet the organization's needs.In this role, you will:

• Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence applications, network, information security, database, operating systems, or web technologies for highly complex business and technical needs across multiple groups
• Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking
• Translate advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions
• Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions
• Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations or provide a competitive advantage to the organization
• Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadershipRequired Qualifications, US:
  • 7+ years of engineering experience
  • 5+ years of information security architecture, design, and consulting experience
  • 5+ years of configuration experience with Cloud service providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or MS Azure
  • 1+ years of experience delivering complex enterprise wide cloud information technology solutionsDesired Qualifications:
    • A Bachelors degree or higher in computer science or finance Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • 2+ years experience securing IaaS/PaaS, private cloud or DevOps environments.
    • 3+ years of experience with secure DevOps and deployment automation to cloud environments.
    • Design consultation experience at the highest technical level: planning, integration, implementation, scalability, and problem definition.
    • Knowledge and understanding of diverse platforms and operating systems, including current and emerging technologies
    • Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams
    • Agile experienceOther desired:
      • Ability to manage initiatives related to the following: security architecture/technology roadmap that aligns with business strategy and the broader security architecture; technology planning and rationalization; related emerging technology assessment and incubation
      • Familiarity with of various cloud security and related risk frameworks (COBIT, Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), FedRAMP, etc.)
      • Excellent interpersonal skills, including those related to conflict resolution
      • Professional Cloud Certification(s) from Cloud Security Alliance, AWS, Google, Microsoft, or equivalent industry-standard / professional organizations
      • Knowledge and understanding of 12-factor/Cloud Native development, Infrastructure as Code, Grid computing / Elastic computeJob Expectations:
