Job Title: Pump Product Coordinator FLSA Status: Exempt Employee
Type: Regular Full TimeWe're hiring a Pump Product Coordinator at
Baker Manufacturing! This position is open to candidates in either
Evansville, WI or Dubuque, IA - we're looking for the right fit to
join our team and will hire one person in either location.***Travel
to Dubuque, IOWA will be required for training. Could be up to
several weeks with breaks to come back home on the weekends. Some
flexibility with the training. SUMMARYAssist customers, regional
managers, and field service representatives with placing orders,
providing technical information, pricing, and delivery of pump
products. Manage return goods including warranty claims. Facilitate
product development by working with Engineering, Operations, Sales,
Production, and Purchasing on pump-related projects. Assist in new
product development including market research, technical manuals,
and bulletins. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the
following. Other duties may be assigned. Evaluate new product
requests and determine which products would be a good addition for
the company. Prepare new product proposals in a report form that
details forecast and profitability. Initiate change order requests
for product changes as needed.Assist with customer service training
sessions Manage the marketing of new product introductions, which
includes releasing new product bulletins, updating price lists,
catalogs, and websites. Work with purchasing and vendors on private
labeling, certifications, and warranty issues.Process return goods,
manage warranty claims, approve or disapprove credit claims,
provide defective material reports, and issue credit memos.Provide
technical assistance with sizing pumps, installation procedures,
troubleshooting, performance, and repair parts of pumps and
pump-related products.Work with appropriate departments on handling
customer concerns or requests, which may include billing questions,
incorrect shipments, orders/material lost in transit, incorrectly
ordered material, defective product, and returned goods
material.Provide information as requested to customers and sales
representatives on availability, product pricing, current quotes,
pricing specials, certificates, and submittal drawings,
departmental policies, customer discounts, and order status.Place
orders for direct shipment, process orders, expedite orders as
needed, switch shipping locations to fill orders, assist order
entry and customer service with part numbers and pricing
inquiries.Assist the supervisor on projects, new product
development, promotional programs, training, etc.Attend trade shows
as required. QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an

EXPERIENCEAssociate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year
college or technical school; or three to four years related
experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of
education and experience. Product development or project management
preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, and interpret
general business periodicals, professional journals, technical
procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports,
business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to
effectively present information and respond to questions from
groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as
discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. Ability
to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING
ABILITYAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts,
and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive
variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form
and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. PHYSICAL
