to significant achievements.Role OverviewAssociate Partners are key
members of our leadership team, contributing to firm-building
efforts while managing 1-2 consulting engagements lasting 3-6
months, supported by teams of 2-4 Consultants and led by an
Engagement Manager.Responsibilities
- Lead problem-solving and manage engagement teams, overseeing
analysis and deliverables in complex projects.
- Apply thought leadership to generate strategic insights and
develop innovative frameworks with broad impact.
- Build and maintain client relationships using healthcare
knowledge to address issues beyond specific engagements.
- Create compelling communications to motivate client
action.
- Mentor junior staff, fostering their skills through an
apprenticeship model.
- Support business development through client proposals, industry
events, and marketing activities.
- Contribute to firm initiatives on talent, knowledge, and core
areas.
- Use healthcare insights to highlight implications for clients,
especially around improving care quality and managing costs.
- Develop frameworks for strategic roadmaps, business cases, and
program mobilization.
- Facilitate discussions with client executives and
stakeholders.
- Foster an energizing team environment and contribute to
knowledge sharing and team development.Qualifications and
Skills
- Minimum 8 years of healthcare provider experience in strategic
or operational initiatives, including 3+ years managing teams.
- Advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA, MPH).
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical abilities.
- Superior communication skills to motivate clients.
- Strong leadership skills, capable of managing teams and
developing colleagues.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Entrepreneurial drive and passion for healthcare
improvement.
- Flexibility to travel as needed.
- Living in or near Washington D.C., Chicago, Boston, or New York
is encouraged; location is flexible.Compensation and BenefitsSalary
range: $176,000 - $230,000, plus potential discretionary bonus.
