It is the means by which we get closer to ---one CDK--- through solidifying positive behaviors in individual leaders and the people they lead worldwide.-- The Learning and Development function is responsible for delivering the learning strategy to the business, and as such, the intern role will play a crucial part to this success. This will be achieved through the design and delivery of enterprise wide L&D initiatives and supporting the ad hoc learning needs of the organization through thought partnership and collaboration with Human Resources Partners and business leaders. The role will provide the intern exposure to cross functional project teams, leadership/soft skill development programs, and projects including program survey evaluation and analysis.--On a day-to-day basis, the intern will provide administrative and program development support to the Learning & Development function. The role has responsibility for the smooth coordination of training courses including: communications with suppliers, trainers, delegates and managers; venue sourcing, price negotiations,--booking and managing, sourcing and procuring materials. The intern will have an opportunity to assist in developing material and making sure that the material reaches the intended recipients efficiently, effectively and within budget.----Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties in support of specific training initiatives
  • Prepare and edit presentations for L&D initiatives or deliverables
  • Conduct research related to L&D projects and developing learning content
  • Prepare and update L&D materials
  • Assist the global L&D team in designing and developing instructor-led and self-paced learning
  • Update LMS content, intranet pages, or communications
  • Partner with subject matter experts and leadership to improve course content and to ensure course materials are current, engaging, and relevant
  • Modify, develop, and analyze existing evaluation surveys and recommend program adjustments
  • Perform other related tasks and special projects, as required--Key Results Indicators & Measures of success (determined through: tasks successfully completed, weekly 1:1 reviews, and feedback):
    • Accurate and timely administration
      • Proactive support to the team
      • Attention to detail, and to accurate system maintenance
      • Attention to deadline driven activities--Skills / Knowledge & Experience:
        • Knowledge in instructional design, designing and creating internal surveys
        • Experience in working with a global organization would be an advantage
        • Familiarity with Instructional Design/Adult Learning Theory
        • Creative and strategic thinker with ability to problem solve and be solution-oriented
        • Ability to prioritize tasks and grasp new concepts in a fast paced environment
        • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
        • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
        • Excellent verbal and written communication skills--Qualifications & Job Requirements:
          • 2+ years experience in an administrative role
            • Coursework in L&D or Human Resources
            • Coursework in I/O Psychology
            • A strong interest in a career in Learning and Development, specifically in training or content development
            • Must be a matriculated college student, GPA of 3.0 higher preferred, and working towards a Bachelor---s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or related field?CDK Global knows you have passions outside of work. ?You have family, friends, sporting events, and lots of things going on. ?
